Even though my fist and ultimate inspiration is my daughter, my second one are books. Since i was a little child i was so much inspired by the books. All my crazy play ideas and very wild imagination came from various books i was reading or i was read to. I always loved the books with magical creatures and fairies or the ones that inspired adventures in nature and exploration of any kind. I used to copy images from my favourite books and even make my own picture books and encyclopedias when i was only ten years old. My own diaries were always full of sketches of what i was feeling or experiencing as words didn’t always come naturally to me as pictures did.
My biggest dream when i was little was to have a library of my own in a little room in the home where i live. That room would be just books and one comfy sofa. Still didn’t reach that goal but my shells are overflowed with books and i am always in lack of more space for them.
Here I put a small bunch of my current favourites and ones that i go to when i dry up with ideas or i get stuck in my creative flow, or just for pure pleasure and joy of reading and looking at the beautiful illustrations.
